We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join an Agile delivery team in the UK. The role involves developing a Test Approach, performing Functional and Integration Testing, and supporting E2E testing on the ITDE Data Extract for Exploitation project.

You will analyse requirements and documents to design test scenarios, write scripts, prepare data, and track results. You will work closely with the delivery team and stakeholders, creating low-level test plans and data sets, and providing

• Experience of Talend as an ETL tool.
• Experience testing Oracle RDS solutions.
• Experience test data preparation and creation.
• Functional System Test experience.
• Test Tools (e.g. Test Automation, Postman).
• Data Warehouse experience.
• Experience with Data Marts.
• Ability to write Test Approach and Test Completion reports.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• ETL experience.

Responsabilités

• Write a Test Approach document and conduct Functional and Integration Testing.
• Support E2E testing on the ITDE Data Extract for Exploitation project.
• Analyse customer requirements and technical documentation to identify test scenarios.
• Write test scripts and develop test data; execute tests and record results.
• Provide regular status reports to the Delivery Manager and raise project risks and issues.

Clearance required: Active SC Clearance is desired. SC Eligibility is required

The role will involve working in an Agile delivery team, writing a Test Approach document, carrying out Functional System Testing and Integration Testing, supporting E2E testing on the ITDE Data Extract for Exploitation project. Activities include analysing customer requirements and technical documentation, identifying test scenarios, writing test scripts, test data preparation and running/recording tests.

This role requires an excellent understanding of test techniques and Risk Based Testing (RBT) in order to verify outcomes against the expected results, and record results for use in audit trails. You will be working closely with the delivery team and key stakeholders to achieve the required business objectives. Checking and assessing requirements, including assessing testability of designs. Creating low-level test plans, test scripts and setting up test data. Providing regular status reports to the Delivery Manager as well as identifying and raising project & product risks and issues.
