Job summary

Investigo is recruiting a Data Engineer with SC Clearance for a six-month contract in the West Midlands, working two days per week.

The role focuses on developing and supporting ETL solutions, primarily Talend and Oracle RDS, within an established delivery framework.

You will contribute to SQL development, GitLab pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers in an Agile environment; SC clearance preferred.

Job description

Data Engineer – SC Clearance £475 per day – Inside IR35 West Midlands / 2 days a week 6 months

Key Requirements:

• Proven commercial experience working as a Data Engineer developing and supporting ETL solutions, working predominantly with Talend and Oracle RDS within an established delivery framework.
• Strong ETL development experience, ideally with Talend (Pentaho or Informatica also considered)
• Experience working with Oracle RDS, including SQL and database development
• Ability to develop and maintain Talend jobs, Oracle DDL, SQL scripts, and GitLab pipeline enhancements
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Good understanding of component, integration, automation, and performance testing
• Experience conducting peer code reviews and mentoring junior engineers within Agile environments
• SC Clearance preferred
