Responsibilities:

1. Conduct quality sampling, analysis & reporting for raw materials, work in progress, finished products, and environmental samples.
2. Maintain data systems timely and accurately to ensure compliance with traceability standards and KPIs.
3. Support sensory activities: taste panels, sample preparation, collection, submission, and result processing.
4. Adhere to GMP, GLP, and master cleaning schedules (MCS).
5. Ensure compliance with company, third-party, and customer standards through proficiency schemes, refresher training, and competency assessments.
6. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
7. Assist with complaint investigations, data analysis, and information provision.
8. Participate in root cause analysis processes, representing QA/Sensory and providing expertise.
9. Conduct internal audits on quality systems, food safety, glass, and health & safety.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in manufacturing environments within QA/Sensory roles.
• Practical knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
• Educational qualification: HNC or equivalent in a science subject, preferably chemistry or biochemistry.

Fluency and confidence in using Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage with various levels within the organization and external contacts.
• Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret analytical and microbiological data.
