Main Responsibilities

1. Conduct quality sampling, analysis & reporting for raw materials, work in progress, finished products, and environmental samples.
2. Maintain data systems accurately and timely to ensure compliance with traceability standards and key performance indicators.
3. Support sensory activities including taste panels, sample preparation, collection, submission, and processing of results.
4. Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP), good laboratory practices (GLP), and master cleaning schedules (MCS).
5. Ensure compliance with company, third-party, and customer standards through successful completion of proficiency schemes, refresher training, and competency assessments.
6. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
7. Assist with complaint investigations by analyzing data and providing relevant information.
8. Participate in root cause analysis processes, representing QA/Sensory and providing expertise.
9. Conduct internal audits related to quality systems, food safety, glass, and health & safety.

Candidate Profile

1. Experience in a manufacturing environment working within QA/Sensory.
2. Practical knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
3. Educated to HNC or equivalent in a science subject (preferably chemistry/biochemistry).
4. Fluent and confident in using Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to interact with various levels within the organization and with external contacts.
8. Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
9. Attention to detail and ability to interpret analytical and microbiological data.
