Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a QA Technician to join our Technical Team at Nottingham. You will support production, monitor quality standards and ensure food safety across site.

You'll conduct GMP walks, support investigations, run taste panels, swabbing, sampling, and help with new product launches while upholding our high standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous QA or technical experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of food safety, allergens, and GMP principles.
  • Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to complete it).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills — you enjoy working with others to achieve great results.
  • IT literacy, including Word, Excel, and technical data systems.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and pride in maintaining the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with new product launches, ensuring labelling, coding, and metal detection systems are correctly set up.
  • Promoting Health & Safety best practices and supporting safe working across all departments.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a QA Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our quality operations — supporting production, monitoring standards, and helping us

continuously improve.

Your day-to-day will include:
