Job summary

drnewitt.vincere.io is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Technologist to join on permanent nights at a large Attleborough site. You will act as the senior Quality representative on the night shift, ensuring GMP and allergen controls, driving a strong quality culture and supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in food safety standards and the ability to investigate issues, challenge standards when needed, and coach production teams on technical procedures.

Qualifications

• Confidence working closely with Production and challenging standards when required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and Technical Excellence projects.

Food Safety & Quality Technologist - Nights

Are you an experienced QA Technician, Senior QA or Quality Technologist looking for the next step in your career?

We are currently recruiting for a Food Safety & Quality Technologist to join a large, fast-paced food manufacturing site in Attleborough.

This is a hands-on factory-based role where you will act as the senior Quality representative on the night shift, working closely with Production to maintain high standards across food safety, quality and technical compliance.

You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of Quality on shift, investigate issues, challenge standards where required and support continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main Quality / Technical contact during night operations.
• Ensure food safety, quality, GMP and allergen controls are consistently maintained.
• Work closely with Production to drive a strong food safety and quality culture.
• Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with previous Quality or Technical experience within food manufacturing.

You may currently be working as a:

QA Technician | Senior QA | QA Technologist | Quality Technologist | Quality Coordinator | Technical Coordinator

You should have:

• Experience working with food safety and technical standards.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP and quality systems.
• Experience investigating quality issues and solving problems.
• Confidence working closely with Production and challenging standards when required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

HACCP Level 4 and a Food Safety / Food Technology qualification would be advantageous but are not essential.

Package

• £35,000 salary
• 4 on 4 off permanent nights
• 6pm - 6am
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, pro rata
