Job summary

Sciensus is seeking qualified Quality Assurance Specialists to join a new compounding unit in a 6- or 12-month FTC. You will oversee end-to-end QA, ensuring GMP-compliant processes from the outset to support safe, effective medicines for patients.

You will develop and maintain the Quality Management System, lead deviations and CAPAs, and work with production, pharmacy and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness across environmental and process controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ 3/BTEC) or degree in Pharmacy, Biology or Chemistry.
• Experience in a Quality Assurance role within pharmaceutical or septic compounding environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements.
• Detail-oriented and well-organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end QA responsibilities including batch review and release of aseptically compounded products.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System to ensure GMP compliance.
• Lead deviations, CAPAs, change control, complaints and audits.
• Collaborate with production, pharmacy and quality teams to ensure safe operations.
• Monitor environmental and process data to maintain validated facilities.
• Deliver training to ensure team competency and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance quality and reduce waste; drive process improvements.
• Participate in audits and inspections and ensure timely follow-up.
