Job summary

Sciensus is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to uphold GMP across our aseptic compounding unit at site. This 40 hours per week, permanent role involves ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, supporting product release, and driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Quality, Production and Pharmacy teams, help maintain the Quality Management System and stay inspection ready, aiming to improve patient outcomes through robust quality practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance role within a pharmaceutical or aseptic compounding environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP (and ideally GDP) requirements.
  • Detail-oriented and organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for patient safety and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain GMP compliance across the compounding unit and support product release activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure the Quality Management System remains robust and inspection-ready.
  • Provide guidance, oversight and leadership to Quality, Production and Pharmacy teams.

As we continue to grow and develop our aseptic compounding services, we're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across our Compounding Unit.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional to join a specialist healthcare environment where your expertise directly impacts patient safety and outcomes. You'll be at the heart of maintaining GMP compliance, supporting product release activities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring our Quality Management System remains robust, effective, and inspection ready.

You'll work closely with Quality, Production, and Pharmacy teams, providing guidance, oversight, and leadership to help maintain the exceptional standards our patients and customers rely on

What’s required to be successful?

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ 3/BTEC) registered with GPhC, or
  • Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or Chemistry (Pharmacists must be GPhC registered)
