Job summary

Sciensus, a leading European life sciences organisation, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to uphold GMP compliance, support product release activities and drive continuous improvement within our aseptic compounding unit in Burton on Trent.

You’ll work closely with Quality, Production and Pharmacy teams, providing guidance and leadership to maintain the robust Quality Management System and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality Assurance role within a pharmaceutical or aseptic compounding environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GMP (and ideally GDP) requirements.
• Detail oriented and organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders cross-functionally.
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for patient safety and delivering high-quality outcomes.

40 hours per week / Site-Based / Perm Contract

As we continue to grow and develop our aseptic compounding services, we're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across our Compounding Unit.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional to join a specialist healthcare environment where your expertise directly impacts patient safety and outcomes. You'll be at the heart of maintaining GMP compliance, supporting product release activities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring our Quality Management System remains robust, effective, and inspection ready.

You’ll work closely with Quality, Production, and Pharmacy teams, providing guidance, oversight, and leadership to help maintain the exceptional standards our patients and customers rely on

What’s required to be successful?

• Experience in a Quality Assurance role within a pharmaceutical or aseptic compounding environment

Desirable Qualifications:

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ 3/BTEC) registered with GPhC, or
• Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or Chemistry (Pharmacists must be GPhC registered)
