Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent QC experience.
• Experience in a medium to heavy engineering environment (oil and gas preferred).
• Proficiency with CMM and FARO Arm inspection equipment.
• Strong knowledge of basic trigonometry and drafting symbols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Flexible to work shifts and overtime.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and specifications.
• Assist QA in manufacturability reviews of drawings for inspection needs.
• Verify customer products against requirements and specs.
• Report non-conformances promptly to QA and perform in-process inspections when needed.
• Maintain calibration of internal inspection equipment and report damage.
• Operate the CMM and program as required.
• Operate the FARO Arm for in-process and final inspections.
• Keep inspection areas safe, tidy, and compliant with policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet business objectives.
• Handle role-related administration.
