Cranswick Country Foods in Hull is recruiting a QA Operative for the Primal department to perform quality checks and uphold technical standards in line with legislation and customer requirements.

You will conduct audits every 1-2 hours, temperature verification, sampling, GMP/CCP verification, and report non-conformances in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. Weekly pay, progression opportunities, pension, and staff perks are provided.

Formación

• Experience in QA/technical roles in FMCG is desirable.
• Strong food safety and hygiene understanding.
• Ability to perform precise audits and record Keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Perform temperature verification checks (sterilisers, wash stations, product, env).
• Collect chemical, microbiological and organoleptic samples per schedules.
• Perform calibration checks and record results.
• Carry out pre-operational hygiene inspections and report failings.

We are currently recruiting for a QA Operative to be responsible for carrying out all relevant quality checks, maintaining technical standards in line with legislation and customer requirements. This role is based at one of our flagship pork manufacturing sites, where recent investments have paved the way for cutting-edge logistics and operational improvements. This particular QA role will be based in our Primal department.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Conducting label / process control audits every 1-2 hours to ensure records are being completed correctly and at the right times as well as raising and issues at the time
• Conducting temperature verification checks (including sterilisers, hand washing stations, product, environmental)
• Ensure collection of chemical, microbiological and organoleptic samples in line with current schedules
• Conducting calibration checks and record the results
• Conducting pre-operational hygiene inspections and report any failings immediately
• Conducting GMP audits and fabrication to ensure any corrective actions required are communicated
• Conducting CCP verification relevant to the area being worked in and report any Non-Conformances
• Ensure closure of any non-conformances raised and proactive prevention of repetition
• Quality attribute assessments on finished product to the defined attributes and a specified frequency
• Completing raw material intake checks to ensure all product adheres to the specification

What We Look For:

• Experience in a similar role - QA / Technical / Experienced Production Operative
• Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)
• Strong level of attention to detail
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Suitable transport to get to HU12 8TB
