Job summary

Hireful is seeking an experienced QA Manager in food manufacturing to own the QA team, drive food safety and quality improvements, and help achieve Grade AA BRCGS status. You will lead audits, manage non-conformances and corrective actions, and work with production to embed a strong quality culture.

Reporting to the Site Head of Technical, you’ll develop the QA team and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced food production environment in Middlesbrough.

Qualifications

• Proven strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing or QA environments.
• Excel and Word proficiency essential for daily QA tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QA team to ensure products meet safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate audits and maintain audit readiness for Grade AA BRCGS status.
• Manage non-conformances, customer complaints and corrective actions.
• Drive GMP improvements and work with production to embed quality culture.
• Ensure compliance with legal and customer quality requirements in a fast-paced site.
