Job summary

Greencore seeks a QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance team at our Bourne site. You will oversee product and process controls, drive compliance with GMP, HACCP, and customer standards, and embed a culture of quality across the operation.

Site-based role with Tuesday–Saturday hours and a competitive benefits package. Reporting to the site leadership, you will develop QA processes, manage audits, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring safety and continual improvement in quality

Qualifications

• Strong background in QA or technical leadership within a food manufacturing environment.
• Confident application of food safety, quality, legal, and customer standards.
• Proven ability to manage HACCP, audits, and quality management systems.
• People-focused leader who motivates, develops, and builds high-performing teams.
• Clear and confident communicator, comfortable engaging at all levels.
• Collaborative approach when working with operations, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive improvement.
• Commitment to building and sustaining a positive food safety culture

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Quality Assurance team to monitor and evaluate product and process controls across the site.
• Apply and embed Greencore, customer, and legal standards, ensuring compliance is consistently achieved.
• Drive improvements in GMP performance and audit readiness across the site.
• Develop and manage QA processes and KPI reporting to drive quality improvements.
• Support audit preparation and delivery, hosting audits and managing non-conformance close-out.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers and suppliers to meet technical requirements.
• Lead, develop, and manage the QA team, ensuring training and succession planning.
• Generate and communicate KPIs, driving action plans through continuous improvement
• Champion a strong Quality Assurance and food safety culture across the site
• Ensure a safe working environment for QA team and adherence to health & safety standards
