Job summary

The Sterling Choice is partnering with an established food manufacturing business in the West Midlands to recruit a hands-on QA Manager who can genuinely influence quality across a busy operation. You will lead and develop a skilled QA and laboratory team, driving improvements and owning day-to-day quality operations while shaping strategies for the site.

We are seeking candidates with solid QA experience in food manufacturing, strong HACCP knowledge, and practical lab competence.

Qualifications

• Experience within Quality Assurance in food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and quality systems.
• Practical knowledge of laboratory processes and microbiology.
• A confident, approachable leader who enjoys developing people.
• Someone proactive, organised and comfortable challenging standards constructively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA and laboratory team, setting direction and standards.
• Drive improvements and shape how quality operates day to day across a busy manufacturing operation.
• Take ownership of quality systems and lab processes.
