Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Software Engineer in Test with at least 4 years of manual and automation testing experience. You will join an agile team to drive transformation projects for clients, crafting test strategies, writing scripts, and guiding quality across the SDLC.

The role involves cross‑browser testing, API/functional testing, and collaboration with developers to automate tests and improve processes. Flexible/remote working is offered, with a strong focus on wellbeing and professional

Qualifications

• Automated QA across cross-browser, API, integration tests.
• Front-end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory and UAT.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with open source tools such as Cypress, Karate, Playwright, Selenium.

Job Description

You may have been working as a Software Engineer in Test, Test Engineer or Test Analyst for a minimum of 4years andis confident in their ability performing manual test but also enjoy conducting automation testing.

You'll be part of an agile team helping our clients achieve their business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions and providing ongoing guidance and advice in test.

You may also get involved with:

• Defining and executing test strategies and scripts
• Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
• Providing support to the development of scrum teams to automate tests to guide development
• Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
• Providingtest estimates

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience of Automated Quality Assurance: Deliver overnight cross-browser, functional, non-functional, API, integration and acceptance tests.
• Delivered front end cross-browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory, systems integration and user acceptance testing e.g. manual testing.
• Confident with building and maintaining frameworks in one or more of these languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Have practical experience with open source tools such as: Cypress, Karate, PlayWright, Selenium or similar.
• Worked in an agile environment.
