Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking a QA Laboratory and Insectary Technician to join the Translational Research and Training Facility at Silwood Park. This on-site, fixed-term role combines quality assurance duties with hands-on laboratory and insectary activities, including work with mosquito colonies and molecular biology tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems in regulated research.
• Ability to manage document control, SOP development, audits and CAPAs.
• Experience with laboratory procedures and insectary operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality systems across TRTF, including document control, SOP development, audit preparation, deviations and CAPAs.
• Provide day-to-day guidance on quality processes and maintain training and quality records.
• Contribute to laboratory and insectary operations, including mosquito colonies, DNA extraction and PCR, with strict health and biosafety standards.
