Job summary

Imperial College London’s Translational Research and Training Facility (TRTF) at Silwood Park invites applications for a QA Laboratory and Insectary Technician. You will implement and maintain the quality management system while hands-on working in the lab and insectary on mosquito biology, DNA extraction and PCR tasks.

You will collaborate with teams across quality, biosafety and project management to ensure research activities meet regulatory standards, provide guidance on quality processes,

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems in a regulated lab environment.
• Hands-on laboratory skills and experience with molecular biology workflows.
• Ability to work with insectary procedures and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform QA activities, document control, SOP development and CAPA management.
• Support laboratory and insectary operations, including DNA analysis workflows.
