At Dornan, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical QA Inspector/Package Manager to join our hyerscale data centre in Cardiff, Wales.

Dornan is a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with projects across Ireland, Europe, and the UK. We are involved in sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical.

You will join a dedicated, ambitious team within a supportive culture where your ideas and contributions are valued.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Perform routine inspections of installation quality.
• Manage snagging of installations during scheduled walkdowns and observations.
• Ensure installations are snag-free during client walkdowns.
• Deliver First of a kind process and sign-off.
• Control documentation of Construction Drawings, Schedules, and Specifications.
• Act as QA Owner for the allocated Turnover scope, overseeing from construction completion through testing, inspection, and handover.
• Participate in the Quality Surveillance Programme.
• Compile turnover packs.

What we are looking for:

• Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification or degree.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems.
