Job summary

SS&C Technologies, Inc. in London, UK is seeking a QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across REST API and UI layers. You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, DevOps and Client Delivery to ensure high-quality releases in a hybrid work environment.

You will leverage C#/.NET or Java, Playwright or Selenium, and AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate testing while applying rigorous QA practices, data validation with SQL, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Experience building automated test frameworks in C#/.NET (preferred) or Java.
• Strong REST API and UI test automation experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• SQL skills for validating complex datasets.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve testing.
• Solid understanding of agile testing and test design techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for REST API and UI.
• Conduct functional, regression, API, UI, and exploratory testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate test creation and defect investigation while validating outputs.
• Collaborate with Engineers, PMs, DevOps, and Client Delivery to ensure delivery.
• Create and maintain high-quality QA documentation and standards.
• Promote automation best practices and QA process improvements.
