Job summary

Tony Gee And Partners in Esher is seeking a QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design and implement a full test framework and suite for core applications. You will lead manual testing, design test cases, and drive quality across releases.

You will automate regression, acceptance, performance, and integration tests using Selenium and API tools, contribute to CI/CD quality, and collaborate with software engineers in an Agile environment. Preference for Esher office.

Qualifications

• Must design a complete test framework and test suite from scratch.
• Significant manual testing experience, including planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and scripts.
• Hands-on API testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Hands-on test automation with Selenium and JUnit.
• Strong knowledge of test lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile environments and strong communication skills.
• Preference for role to be based in Esher office.

Working Location

The role is primarily based in Esher, where the Software Engineering team is located. Being onsite enables close collaboration with Software Engineers, ensuring effective communication within the team.

Degree in Information Technology or any equivalent qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a QA Engineer.
• Ability to design a full test framework and test suite structure from scratch.
• Proven experience in manual testing, including planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, etc.
• Handson experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and JUnit.
• Strong understanding of test lifecycle methodologies and best practices.
• Experience using bug-tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile environments.

Additional Experience and Knowledge

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Basic cybersecurity awareness.
• Exposure to desktop application or plugin development.
• Experience working with SharePoint or O365 applications.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• CAD software familiarity (e.g., Bentley, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Trimble).
