Job Title: QA Compliance Manager

We specialize in the manufacture and distribution of perfumes and personal care products, serving markets across the UK and internationally. As a global organization committed to innovation and excellence, we are investing further in our QA Compliance department and seeking a driven QA Compliance Manager to join our expanding team.

Position Summary

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a proven track record in product compliance and legislation? In this senior role, you will lead and develop our QA compliance function, ensuring adherence to UK & international safety standards. You will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment and directly influence product quality and company growth.

The Role

• Manage the QA compliance team
• Ensure compliance with UK and European safety and quality legislations
• Oversee manufacturing quality standards
• Work hours: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm

The Candidate

• Solid experience in people management and coaching
• Experience maintaining product technical files for CE & UKCA marking directives
• Good knowledge of UKCA & CE marking directives and relevant worldwide product legislation
• Experience with quality standards such as BRCGS and ISO 22716
• Proven regulatory and quality assurance track record
• Supervise and support the quality control function and team
• Regularly brief the QC team on product quality, customer visits, rejections, and operational issues
• Maintain and update company accreditations
• Establish training and development plans for QC staff
• Ensure compliance with required standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with line leaders and management
• Conduct quality checks, audits, and label controls, and record non-compliances
• Perform internal audits including product traceability and ensure corrective actions are completed timely

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QC/compliance within the personal care industry
• Experience with relevant quality standards including BRCGS and ISO 22716
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
