Job summary

G.Digital, a growing technology consultancy in Leeds, is seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join their team hybrid in Leeds City Centre. You will work alongside software engineers and delivery managers, spanning the full SDLC on multiple projects, from acceptance criteria through go-live.

You will build understanding of diverse products, define testable criteria, and design automated tests with Playwright, supporting UI and API testing within Agile squads.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial testing experience.
• Strong, hands-on automation testing experience, specifically with Playwright.
• Comfortable working across UI and API test automation.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong working understanding of a broad range of bespoke software products.
• Work with clients and colleagues to define clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Plan, create and maintain automated tests, with a strong focus on Playwright.
• Support testing across UI and API layers.
• Work within Agile delivery teams, contributing to sprint planning and ceremonies.
• Provide support and triage feedback during UAT.
