Job summary

Salt is seeking a DV Cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to join our team and work on critical UK services. You will be hands-on, writing and maintaining automated tests, testing APIs and integrations, and helping engineering teams build quality in from the start.

You will build and maintain automated test frameworks, perform functional, integration and regression testing, and work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust release readiness.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial QA/testing experience.
• Strong test automation skills.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured or similar.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices.
• Hands-on, curious problem solver.

DV Cleared, QA Engineer, Automation, On Site 5 days a week at any of the following location; London, Manchester, Ipswich or Cheltenham.

A global firm are looking for a DV Cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to work on technology that supports some of the UK's most critical services.

You'll be hands-on — writing and maintaining automated tests, testing APIs and integrations, investigating defects and helping engineering teams build quality in from the start.

You'll be doing things like:

• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites
• Functional, integration and regression testing
• API and end-to-end testing
• Working with CI/CD pipelines and development teams
• Investigating issues and driving defects through to resolution
• Improving testing processes, tooling and automation

You'll bring:

• Solid commercial QA/testing experience
• Strong test automation skills
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured or similar
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices
• A curious, hands-on approach to problem solving

Experience in secure, regulated or mission-critical environments is a bonus, not a must.
