Job summary

Fresca Group in Paddock Wood is seeking a QA Inspector to join The Fresh Produce Centre team. You will assess quality through visual, sensory and technical tests across processing stages to ensure only premium stock reaches customers.

You will communicate issues to management, make clear recommendations, and support continuous improvement in quality and conformity with customer specs. Experience with fresh produce is valued.

Qualifications

• Some experience with fresh produce.
• Keen eye for detail to spot produce issues to ensure only perfect stock reaches customers.
• Ability to communicate at all levels to keep the team informed.
• Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines in peak seasons.
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft packages is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on quality of products through visual, sensory and technical tests.
• Ensure quality remains premium from arrival through production to dispatch.
• Communicate quality issues to line management and verify product meets specs.
• Advise on next steps when a product does not meet requirements.
