Job summary

Spait Infotech is seeking a capable QA Engineer to analyze requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and execute functional and regression testing. You will validate UI/API functionality and report defects, working with developers, analysts, and managers to ensure quality.

The role emphasizes test design, documentation, and adherence to SDLC/STLC with collaboration across teams to mitigate risks and drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
• Good understanding of test case design techniques.
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
