Job summary

Xcede Recruitment Solutions in London is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join a high-profile e-commerce delivery team during a major digital transformation. You will own testing across customer journeys, integrations, and critical systems, coordinating with stakeholders and external vendors within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include planning and executing diverse testing types, creating test data, and delivering quality releases with robust metrics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing or QA.
• Strong experience testing e-commerce platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus.
• Experience testing Order Management Systems (OMS).
• Excellent understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail or Zephyr.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory and UAT testing.
• Validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create and manage test data.
• Identify, log and manage defects through to resolution.
• Test integrations across e-commerce, order management, payments, warehouse, finance and CRM systems.
• Support defect triage sessions with technical teams and external vendors.
• Produce test execution reports, quality metrics and go-live readiness assessments.
• Champion quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

QA Analyst (E-commerce) | Contract | £250-£270 per day | Inside IR35

Location: London (Hybrid)

Rate: £250-£270 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: 3-month initial contract with strong likelihood of extension

We’re working with a leading global technology solutions provider supporting one of the world’s most recognised names in interactive entertainment. As part of a major digital transformation programme, we’re looking for an experienced QA Analyst to join a high‑profile e‑commerce delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of a new online retail platform, ensuring quality across customer journeys, integrations, and business‑critical systems.

You’ll be responsible for planning, executing and coordinating testing activities across a complex ecosystem, helping deliver a best‑in‑class e‑commerce experience. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, developers and third‑party vendors to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key Responsibilities
