CV Screen is recruiting for a QA Test Analyst in Rugby. The role offers a salary of £37,000–£43,000 DOE with excellent benefits and hybrid working after probation.

The successful candidate will join a technology business delivering cloud-based software and consultancy to help navigate environmental compliance challenges. You will test across frontend/backend, collaborate with developers in an Agile environment and support ongoing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual testing experience with strong frontend & backend testing.
• Experience with MS SQL and DynamoDB, data validation, ETL and integration testing incl. microservices/Lambda/JSON.
• Experience with AWS/serverless technologies; ISTQB Foundation desirabl(e).

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Carry out functional, regression, integration, performance and security testing.
• Analyse test outcomes, identify risks and work with developers to investigate defects.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle and testing strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Carry out functional, regression, integration, performance and security testing to maintain high software quality.
• Analyse test outcomes, identify potential risks and work with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle, contributing to testing strategies and continuous improvement.
• Investigate system issues, communicate findings to stakeholders and support junior team members with testing techniques and tools.

What Experience is Required

• 5+ years' manual testing experience, with strong knowledge of frontend and backend testing approaches.
• Experience with databases including MS SQL and DynamoDB, data validation, ETL and integration testing, including microservices, Lambda or JSON.
• Experience with AWS/serverless technologies and an understanding of software release risks; ISTQB Foundation is desirable.
