Job summary

Morepeople 01780 is recruiting a Quality Auditor for a busy food manufacturing site in Grantham. You will audit factory processes, products and records to uphold hygiene, food safety and customer standards.

You will work with Production, Hygiene, Engineering and Maintenance to drive corrective actions, maintain QA systems and support HACCP compliance across high-risk processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical, Quality or Food Safety within a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC standards, food legislation and food hygiene.
• Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional working ability.
• Proactive, organised and tenacious approach.
• Experience within high-risk / ready-to-eat food manufacturing would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Auditing factory environments, processes, products and records against agreed standards.
• Monitoring day-to-day product quality across production, despatch and taste panels.
• Supporting and maintaining the Quality Assurance System.
• Auditing HACCP systems and ensuring food safety requirements are consistently met.
• Completing forward and backward traceability exercises.
• Supporting critical quality processes including calibration, temperature monitoring and validation.
• Identifying non-conformances and working with operations to close out corrective actions.
• Providing technical guidance and support across Production, Hygiene and Engineering.
• Supporting technical, hygiene and operational problem solving and improvement projects.

Are you a Quality or Technical professional looking for a hands‑on role where you can make a real impact on food safety, quality and continuous improvement?

We’re looking for a Quality Auditor to join a busy food manufacturing operation in Grantham, supporting the wider business in maintaining high standards across quality, hygiene, food safety and customer requirements.

You’ll play a key role in auditing factory processes, products, records and hygiene standards, identifying non‑conformances and working closely with Production, Hygiene, Engineering and Maintenance teams to drive corrective actions and prevent issues from recurring.

What you’ll be doing
