Job summary

Oxford Knight in London is expanding one of its trading teams with a talented Python Research Engineer who will collaborate with traders and researchers to architect unified systems for producing strategies.

You will reduce the time and cost of research by designing scalable, efficient systems and enabling new research through flexible workflows that business teams can use easily. A strong background in Python, C++, and distributed computing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related) from a top-tier university.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms and OO programming.
• Experience with distributed systems, scientific computing and ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders and researchers to architect and develop unified systems for producing strategies.
• Help design and implement scalable, efficient research infrastructure to reduce time and cost of research.
• Enable new research by creating flexible workflows that are easy to use by the business.
