Oxford Knight in the United Kingdom is seeking a dynamic software engineer to join a leading quant trading team, designing, writing and maintaining a complex Python infrastructure in collaboration with traders and technologists.

The role is front office, focusing on high-throughput, low-latency solutions. Financial experience is not essential; eagerness to learn and an interest in sports/sports betting are valued. Flexible with WFH in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Formación

• Excellent problem-solving skills and maintainable, extensible code.
• Strong Python and Linux knowledge; some C++ is preferable.
• Self-directed and able to own multiple projects.
• Knowledge of SQL, Redis, InfluxDB a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• Interest in sports or sports betting is advantageous.
