Job summary

Brio Digital Limited is seeking a Python Software Engineer to design, build, test and operate scalable Python services on serverless AWS infrastructure. This contract role covers the full lifecycle from design to live support, within a leading digital consultancy delivering a national-scale public sector programme.

You will work on serverless AWS services, implement Terraform-based infrastructure, and develop CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python experience building production services.
• AWS serverless experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
• Terraform IaC experience.
• CI/CD pipelines knowledge.
• Automated testing and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python backend services and APIs.
• Build cloud-native solutions on AWS including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and S3.
• Deploy infrastructure and applications using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment.
• Implement automated unit and integration testing.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot incidents.
• Collaborate with product, architecture and delivery teams to turn requirements into solutions.
