Job summary

AWD online in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a PVC recycling operation focused on safety, efficiency and sustainability.

In this hands-on leadership role you will manage Shift Team Leaders, drive continuous improvement with Lean and TPM, coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance, and report on performance while developing the team and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing or recycling environments.
• Proven people management and team development skills.
• Strong HSE knowledge and an operational excellence mindset.
• Experience improving KPIs with Lean, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, coaching and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: plastics/recycling experience; IOSH/NEBOSH qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Manage Shift Team Leaders to deliver throughput, yield, quality, OEE and cost targets.
• Drive Lean, TPM and data-led improvement activity.
• Coach and develop teams through performance management, succession planning and employee engagement.
• Work with Engineering and Maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and plant availability.
• Lead operational reporting, performance reviews and improvement actions, deputising for the Production Manager when required.
• Support waste reduction, energy efficiency and environmental performance.
