Hygrove Partners Ltd in the West Midlands is recruiting a PV Supervisor to oversee solar PV installation teams on social housing retrofit and new build domestic sites, ensuring safety, programme adherence, and high standards.

The role involves supervising residential PV installs, mentoring junior electricians, and coordinating with project managers and housing associations to ensure compliance with electrical and H&S regulations, quality sign-off, and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification with solar PV experience.
• Supervisory experience on residential sites.
• 18th Edition, and ideally solar-specific certification (e.g. MCS-related training).
• Valid CSCS card essential
• Own transport essential
• Willing to work from Walsall and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

Hygrove Partners are recruiting a PV Supervisor on behalf of a leading and fast-growing, modern construction company, delivering solar PV installations across social housing and new build domestic developments in the West Midlands.

The Role:

Supervising solar PV installation teams across social housing retrofit and new build domestic sites, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day supervision of PV installation teams across social housing and new build domestic properties


• Ensuring compliance with electrical and H&S regulations


• Quality control and sign-off of completed installations


• Coordinating with project managers, housing association clients and other trades on site


• Mentoring and supporting less experienced electricians

What We're Looking For:

• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / equivalent) with solar PV experience


• Supervisory experience on residential sites


• 18th Edition, and ideally solar-specific certification (e.g. MCS-related training)
