Job summary

Fixatex Ltd is a family-run electrical services provider delivering high-quality electrical services across London and the Southeast. The role focuses on qualified electricians with Solar PV install & servicing experience, working on domestic properties, primarily in social housing and local authority sectors.

The successful candidate will install, maintain and inspect electrical systems and solar PV installations, ensuring compliance with BS standards and company KPIs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation requires.
• C&G 2922-34 Level 3 for PV systems installation & maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months).
• 18th Edition C&G 2382 or equivalent.
• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electrical industry.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the solar PV industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works as required.
• Install, service, maintain & repair solar PV systems.
• Demonstrate competence with a wide range of solar PV systems and equipment, including monitoring devices.
• Have a good understanding of electrical systems and be able to identify/report faults.
• Interpret electrical/site drawings when necessary.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and BS 2922-34 regulations.
• Complete all job reports and certification accurately.
• Work safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards.
