Job summary

GRUPOTEC is seeking an O&M Electrician to join our photovoltaic projects near Burwell, Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of PV installations in line with the O&M Manual.

You will inspect, diagnose and repair low-voltage systems, modules and trackers, perform testing, and maintain electrical equipment. The position offers a competitive salary, a company van, generous leave and on-call allowances.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical field or renewable energy.
• BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ PV/BESS project experience preferred.
• HV awareness and safety training are valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of PV installations per the O&M Manual.
• Diagnose and repair faults in low-voltage systems, modules, trackers, and cabling.
• Inspect components and report findings to management.
• Maintain electrical panels and protection equipment per schedules.
• Complete work orders and digital documentation.
