Job summary

GOLDBECK SOLAR is seeking a Technical Asset Manager Photovoltaics & BESS to monitor and manage PV and battery energy storage assets. You will coordinate service activities, support operational excellence, and ensure long-term performance.

The role involves coordinating service technicians, handling technical and commercial inquiries, and maintaining monitoring systems to optimize availability and efficiency. This is an opportunity to work with an international team on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a comparable field.
• Initial professional experience in photovoltaics, energy technology, or plant engineering is an advantage. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems and data technology is desirable.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), monitoring, and fault analysis is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, teamwork, and a structured, solution-oriented way of working.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and manage assigned photovoltaic and battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and contractual partners regarding technical and commercial matters.
• Plan, commission, and coordinate service technicians and external service providers.
• Oversee reporting activities and ensure optimal system performance and availability.
• Support project management activities for retrofitting, maintenance, repair, and repowering projects.
• Configure, commission, and maintain monitoring systems for PV and BESS assets.
