Orion Pharma seeks a highly motivated Purification Research Associate to establish and support its purification platform at the Cambridge site. You will deliver high-quality material for downstream analytics, functional testing, and eventual clinical development, working within the Antibody Purification team.

Qualifications

• A BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related life science discipline.
• 1–3 years of practical lab experience in purification and downstream processing.
• Hands-on purification of antibodies and recombinant proteins.

Responsibilities

• Execute purification protocols for recombinant antibodies, antigens, ADC and CAR-T components using chromatography techniques.
• Support development and optimisation of purification workflows, including buffer preparation and method troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and ensure procedures are current in electronic notebooks.
• Perform routine protein quality assessments using SDS-PAGE, UV spectroscopy, HPLC, and related tools.
• Track and analyze data to support interpretation within the purification team.
• Collaborate with Antibody Expression, Analytical, Discovery, and Engineering teams to meet timelines.
• Comply with safety and quality standards and maintain a clean, organized lab environment.
