Job summary

Thrive Trowbridge is recruiting a Purchasing and Supply Chain Coordinator in Bath to join a busy team. You will manage the end-to-end ordering process, monitor forecasts and stock, and place and track purchase orders, working with Far East suppliers on pricing, production and shipping.

The role requires 2+ years in forecasting/procurement, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate with suppliers. Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' forecasting / demand planning experience required.
• Strong Excel, numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Purchasing/procurement experience, ideally FMCG or product environment.
• Confident negotiating with suppliers.
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end ordering process.

• Working with Far East suppliers on pricing, production and shipping
• Coordinating new launches and reprints
• Monitoring inventory and preventing stock shortages
• Analysing KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve
• Maintaining accurate product costs, pricing and system data
• Solving problems quickly and keeping everything on trac

What you will need to succeed:

• 2+ years' experience in forecasting / demand planning
• Strong Excel, numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation
• Purchasing/procurement experience, ideally within FMCG or a product environment
• Confident negotiating with suppliers

• A proactive, hands-on approach

• Someone who enjoys working at pace and taking ownership
