Job summary

Octagon Group in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, is seeking two organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinators to join its team. The roles offer a chance to develop careers across supply chain, manufacturing, purchasing, logistics or order management.

You will coordinate international supplier requirements, monitor production and order progress, and communicate with overseas partners to prevent delays. Training is provided for electronics/technical manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing or order management is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience using an MRP or ERP system is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in electronics or a technical manufacturing environment is useful, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate component and finished-goods requirements with international suppliers and factories.
• Monitor production schedules, order progress and completion dates.
• Communicate regularly with overseas suppliers and follow up outstanding actions.
• Identify potential material shortages, production delays and logistics issues.
• Escalate supply chain risks and significant delays.
• Work with freight forwarders and logistics providers on international shipments.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Production and Purchasing teams.
• Support supplier onboarding and re-approval processes.

A leading high-technology design and manufacturing business is looking for two organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinators to join its team in Fordingbridge, Hampshire.

Experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, purchasing or order management would be beneficial, although it is not essential. Experience using an MRP or ERP system would also be advantageous.

Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required, along with excellent written and verbal English. Mandarin or Cantonese language skills would be an advantage.

Experience within electronics or another technical manufacturing environment would be useful, but full training will be provided.
