Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for their site in Lichfield to lead the purchasing function, manage a small team and influence cost, quality and delivery across the operation.

You will build strong supplier relationships, negotiate commercially, support production needs and drive improvements in cost, service and supplier performance. You will also mentor the purchasing team and work with Operations, Engineering and Planning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a purchasing team in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements.

Responsibilities
