Your new role is an exciting position in purchasing and procurement. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services for current projects, building strong supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes.

Your new role

• Develop and Implement Procurement Strategy: Create and execute a strategic approach for the packaging category, aligning with overall business procurement goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation in packaging.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders at various levels within the organization to understand and address business and customer needs. Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure packaging solutions meet business requirements.
• Supply Risk Management: Continuously assess and update the risk profile of packaging suppliers. Identify suitable suppliers based on quality, speed, and pricing. Implement ongoing improvement programs to mitigate risks.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Lead a Supplier Relationship Management program for the category. Build strategic relationships with key suppliers to improve performance and collaboration.
• Market Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of global packaging supply markets, including competitor strategies and product innovations. Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities for category growth.
• Contract Management: Negotiate contracts effectively, securing favorable terms, and review agreements regularly to maintain advantageous conditions.
