The Procurement Manager is responsible to capture all requirements for direct and indirect materials, create and communicate purchase orders and ensure supply at the right time, quality and price.

This position is part of the Supply Chain Team located in Hoegaarden, Belgium and will be a fully on-site position.

What you’ll do:

• You will be the team leader for the buyers in the Procurement team.
• You have the end responsibility of the procurement processes (From Purchase Orders to Supplier OTIF, Stock replenishment tactics, GRIR reports, RAW Inventory management)
• Lead, delegate or support projects from the procurement perspective.
• Be responsible for Inventory and Supplier OTIF KPIs.
• Act as a subject matter expert in ERP (SAP) for the buying modules.
• Leverage the Danaher Business System. Lead and participate in Kaizen events.
• You will work in close collaboration with internal departments such as Strategic Sourcing, Production, Planning, Quality, Warehouse and with frequent global interactions.

Who you are:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a relevant technical area, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain/procurement position.
• Demonstrated Team-leading/managing experience and skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is advantageous

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• ERP proficiency (preferably SAP). Oracle is a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience in using reporting tools such as QlikSense.
• APICS certification or other procurement/supply chain certificates are a plus
