Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is assisting a well-established engineering manufacturer in recruiting a Technical Buyer. The role covers day-to-day procurement across a wide supplier base, raising purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, and maintaining ERP records.

You will work closely with engineering, production and planning teams, support stock control, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement within the supply chain. Experience in manufacturing procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/procurement within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
• Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel.
• Proactive, organised, and a strong team player.
• Attention to detail with a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities
