Victorian Plumbing, the UK’s leading online bathroom retailer, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our busy buying team. You’ll work closely with suppliers to manage deliveries, build purchase orders, and keep the flow from supplier to customer smooth and seamless.

You’ll thrive on organisation, excel at communication, and stay calm under pressure as you support inventory, invoices, and customer orders.

Qualifications

• Experience with supplier communications and purchase orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

• Clear literacy in composing emails and reports.
• Ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Plumbing or retail industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for suppliers, managing deliveries, resolving issues (no leaks allowed!), and building Customer Purchase Orders (CPOs).
• Keep stock levels in good condition; update ETAs, chase suppliers for information, and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly with dispatch notifications and supplier confirmations.
• Support accounts by addressing invoice errors and credit queries to keep finances watertight.
• Act as a friendly voice for Customer Service, Trade, and Resolutions teams.
• Tackle delivery issues and maintain clean, accurate reports.
