Job summary

Victorian Plumbing is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep our offices running smoothly, from leaky taps to flickering lights. You'll be part of a proactive maintenance team, diagnosing issues and performing fixes to keep colleagues productive and comfortable.

Ideal candidates have experience in commercial building upkeep, a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and safety systems, and a hands-on attitude. Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Skelmersdale location.

Qualifications

• Experience keeping buildings shipshape, preferably in a commercial setting.
• A basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• The ability to tackle physical tasks and keep the handyman spirit alive.
• A keen eye for detail and the problem-solving skills of a mastermind.
• Communication skills that flow freely!
• Organisation so good, it SHINES.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose (and fix) minor plumbing issues.
• Maintain lighting to ensure bright, cheery spaces.
• Do light painting and touch-ups to keep the office looking spick and span.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, big or small.
• Be our safety champion, coordinating with security and safety policies.
• Other duties as required to keep the workplace running smoothly.

• Keep things ship-shape by responding promptly to maintenance requests, big or small.
• Be our safety champion, collaborating with security and ensuring everyone's well-versed in all things Health & Safety.
