Victorian Plumbing is seeking a proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our fast-paced online bathroom retailer. You’ll manage supplier deliveries, build Customer Purchase Orders, and chase crucial information to keep stock flowing smoothly.

You’ll support invoicing, resolve credit queries, and act as the communication hub for Customer Service, Trade, and Resolutions teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and strong supplier relationships, in a busy warehouse-style environment.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Superstar: You'll be the go-to person for our suppliers, managing deliveries, resolving issues (no leaks allowed!), and building Customer Purchase Orders (CPOs).
• Inventory Maestro: Keep our stock levels in tip-top condition! Update ETAs, chase suppliers for crucial information, and resolve any discrepancies with the grace of a seasoned plumber.
• Order Oracle: You'll ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly, using dispatch notifications, emails, and supplier confirmations.
• Financial Fixer: Support our accounts team by tackling invoice errors and credit queries. You’ll be the sealant that keeps our finances watertight.
• Communication Champion: Be the friendly voice and helpful email responder for our Customer Service, Trade, and Resolutions teams. You’ll be the plumb line for information!
• Problem Solver Extraordinaire: You’ll tackle delivery errors and keep our reports as clean as a freshly scrubbed bathtub.
