Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Raising and processing purchase orders in line with company procedures.
  • Obtaining supplier quotations and assisting with price comparisons.
  • Liaising with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records, files and databases.
  • Assisting with the set-up and maintenance of supplier information.
  • Resolving routine supplier and invoice queries.
  • Ensuring documentation is completed and retained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Supporting compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Procurement function as required.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Assistant to support our Procurement team in the administration of ensuring materials, plant, equipment and services are ordered accurately and delivered on time to our projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has an interest in procurement, supply chain, construction, engineering or plant operations.

The role will focus on supporting purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and helping to ensure the smooth running of the procurement function.

Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
