Job summary

Reflect Recruitment Group is seeking a Purchaser in Grantham for a permanent, full-time role. The role involves purchasing all components and materials using the in-house MRP system, coordinating with the warehouse, and managing recurring contracts.

The target salary is £40-45k per annum, with good benefits and a growing manufacturing environment. You will work to support ISO9001 quality standards and health and safety alongside external contractors, contributing to the company’s expanding

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years purchasing experience.
• Experience in ISO9001 manufacturing or engineering desirable.
• Numerate with ability to manage data using MRP.
• Ability to develop supplier relationships.

• Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores.
• Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance / inspections.
• Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management and by working with our external contractors.

The role

• Purchase all components and materials using the in-house MRP software
• Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores
• Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance / inspections
• Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management and by working with our external contractors

The ideal candidate will be

• Highly numerate
• Able to carry out a broad range of tasks as and when required
• Have a proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and colleagues
• Experienced using data management tools such as MRP.
• Commercial acumen, and understanding of supply and demand
• Minimum of 2 years prior purchasing experience
• Experience of working in an ISO9001 manufacturing or engineering business is desirable
