Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is exclusive partner to a well-established environmental services group with sites across the Southwest, seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator based at the Yeovil headquarters.

You will join a small, experienced team handling supplier queries, invoices, VAT coding and month-end tasks, with Sage and Excel proficiency highly beneficial and a minimum of 12 months AP experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of accounts payable experience in a finance function.
• Strong numeracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good IT skills; experience with Sage and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for supplier enquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts payable email inbox.
• Administer the purchase order system and invoice coding.
• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely payment authorisation.
• Assist with month-end procedures and AP system improvements.
• Support the Financial Controller on accounting projects.
