Job summary

Praxis Group, a UK real estate investor and manager, is seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a busy Finance team in Manchester. You will manage supplier invoices, maintain ledgers, and ensure timely processing with accurate coding and approvals.

The role emphasizes organisation, pace, and attention to detail. Experience in accounts payable is preferred; familiarity with finance systems and Excel is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger.
• Strong invoice processing, coding, and documentation discipline.
• Accurate creditor reconciliation and exception resolution skills.
• Good understanding of purchase order, approval, and payment controls.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently with correct coding and approvals.
• Maintain purchase ledger controls in line with Praxis procedures and standards.
• Ensure PO, approval, and payment controls are followed and documented.
• Use Bluebox, MOJO, and PO systems, keeping records up to date.
• Manage high transaction volumes and meet deadlines.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve invoice discrepancies quickly.
• Support supplier payment runs and maintain accurate financial records.
